a. Salvation – Faith, repentance, confession, purpose of baptism, mode of baptism, restoring those who fall away
b. Worship – Items of worship, day of worship, communion weekly, vocal music, prayer, free will giving
c. Doctrines – Trinity, resurrection, sin, inspiration, Satan, second coming, Holy Spirit, the church
d.
Organization – Elders, deacons, preachers, church discipline
2. Restoration is NOT FINISHED in:
a. Attitudes
i. Love the brethren
ii. Judgmental attitudes, self-righteous, “holier-than-thou”
iii. Toward God, Bible, Sin, Salvation, Lost
iv. Toward the world, values, morals
b. Zeal and excitement for the cause
i. Is there not a cause? 1 Samuel 17:29
ii. Evangelism of the lost around you
iii. Re-activating the erring
iv. Foreign mission work
v. Training preachers
c. Commitment to the work, Dedication
i. Matthew 16:24-25
ii. Luke 14:25-33
d. Spirit of the law, not just the letter
i. 2 Corinthians 3:6
ii. John 6:63
e. Moral values
i. Many see how close to the edge they can come
ii. Technology is moving faster that our morals
1. Life support systems – living wills
2. Abortion – Euthanasia – Suicide
iii. Things that USED TO BE WRONG – now they are OK
