Can I be happy if I know that my family is not there?
The question assumes four things that are not true!
This question assumes that:
A. I will be happier not knowing anyone.
1. Have you ever been in a city or country where you did not know anyone? Was that a happy or frightening event?
B. My human love is greater than God's love

3. Is God happy in heaven knowing that people rejected his Son? Is Jesus happy in heaven knowing that people for whom he died have rejected his sacrifice?
C. Relationships will remain

D. We have an argument with God's judgment
1. Rev. 16:5-7
2. Rev. 19:1-3
3. We will agree - "There was noting else God could have done and still be a Righteous God."
Why the Judgment? What is its purpose?
A. At death we already are in Paradise or Torment. We can not cross the "great gulf" that is fixed. What is the purpose of the judgment?

C. Story of ink drops crying because their father was in the "pen" and they did not know how long the "sentence" was.
