My Problem with this teaching
Kingdom
Didn't Jesus and John preach a “kingdom at hand”? Matthew 3:2; 4:17
Was it promised in the lifetime of the apostles? Mark 9:1
Did God FAIL? Daniel 2:44 – in days of Roman Empire
“Thy Kingdom come” - Did the prayer fail?
Kingdom was in existence in the first century
Colossians 1:13
Hebrews 12:28
Revelation 1:9
Mission of Jesus
Why did Jesus come 2,000 years ago?
Did he come to set up a kingdom in Jerusalem and reign forever?
Died he come to die on the cross, be raised the 3rd day?
What if Jesus had succeeded in becoming King on David's throne?
Under Law of Moses
Still offer animal sacrifices
Not have remission of sins, salvation, redemption
No hope of eternal life
