TITLE:  Once Saved, Always Saved?
TEXT:  Ezekiel 18:24-26
PROPOSITION:  The possibility of apostasy is taught in both OT and NT.

INTRODUCTION:

  1. A common teaching is that, once a person is saved and becomes a Christian, they are forever saved. Nothing they do can cause them to be lost.
  2. This doctrine has several names – Once Saved, Always Saved; Eternal Security; Perseverance of the Saints
  3. This lesson will show that this doctrine is denied in both the OT and NT.
