BEWARE OF A ZEAL FOR GOD THAT ADVERTISES ITSELF

- A zeal for self boasts about our zeal for God
- Can you imagine Christ calling attention to His zeal?
BEWARD OF A ZEAL THAT DESTROYS MORE THAN IT BUILDS
- Sometimes there is a need for a wrecking crew tear
down to build better
- Jehu did not build, replace just kill and tear down
- Even though those killed were bad, wicked people
- See the policy of Christ
- Cleansed the temple twice
- Think about how many times he fed, healed, helped,
touched
- Make sure our zeal is constructive.
BEWARE OF A ZEAL THAT DOESNT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR
CONSISTENT CHRISTIAN LIVING

Conclusion
- Be aware that the negative zeal tears down but leaves
the lot vacant, empty
- We need to be filled with Christ
- Ephesians 5:18 not with wine, filled with the Spirit
