Jewish Sabbath was close - bodies must be down from the cross before sunsets
Break their legs - suffocation will finish them off.
Jesus was already dead - spear in side - blood and water came out.
1 Peter 1:18-19
Our salvation is not like a ransom - $100,000 will free us
Sin is more serious than that - wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)
Our salvation was purchased with the precious blood of Jesus
Sinless, spotless, perfect
Behold the Lamb of God (John 1:29)

In spiritual world - blood purifies, cleanses - makes our stained garment white
To remove the stain of sin - we must be washed in the blood of Jesus
