TITLE:  Eat or Be Eaten (The Last Supper)
TEXT:  Revelation 19:17-21
PROPOSITION:  Many who think they are guests, will be the main course.

 INTRODUCTION:

  1. Eat or be eaten. Guest for dinner = eat at same table, OR you ARE dinner
  2. Jesus told several parables about dinner invitations
    1. Man without his wedding garment

    3. Excuses made
    4. Do not sit at head table
  3. Jesus accepted many dinner invitations
    1. Simon the leper
    2. Martha and Mary
    3. Zaccheus
    4. Wedding feast first miracle

 All are invited (given the opportunity to come)

  1. Matthew 11:28-30 All who labor and are heavy laden
  2. Revelation 22:17 Who hears, Come; Who thirsts, Come
  3. Revelation 3:20 Stand at door and knock,
  4. John 3:16 Whoever believes in Him should not perish

 Many refuse to accept

 Others plan to come but get sidetracked

 Some think they are coming; but they are not.
