is a broad range within the church family.
- Singles;
Married, no kids; Married with kids; Parents without mates;
- Empty
nests; Alone (widowed or divorced)
- Spiritually
– all ages – just converted to "grew up" in the church
- Adults
provide the basic structure of the church because of:
Commitment
- Most
who "drop out" do so early in life
- In
the church – working, attending = committed to the work
Leadership
- Elders,
Deacons, PEP team leaders, bear stuffers
- Mission
trips, teach classes, work with teens
- Provide
the leaders with ideas, suggestions
Financial Support
- About
80% of support comes from the adults in the church
- Elderly
on fixed income – limited resources; teens – not learned value of giving
- Adults
– at peak of their earning potential – making more than ever in your life
- Extra
needs – benevolence, TCH, special needs
Involvement
- Backbone
