A comment I would make in Bible class headed me down this road. When discussing a
passage I would say, “When I write my commentary, it will explain what this verse
Then I was challenged - When are you going to write that commentary? So I started
with Colossians. I printed copies and gave them to a class I was teaching.
Then came the challenge to teach the book of Revelation. I started out making notes
so I could teach the class. When I finished I had over 150 pages in commentary format.
I printed just enough for that class.
Now there are several commentaries and other study materials that are available on
